Perform tarpan and pind daan, feed a Brahmin or someone in need, and give food and clothes in charity. The best time is midday (Kutup and Rohina muhurat) rather than morning or evening. If your ancestor’s tithi is not known, use Sarva Pitru Amavasya on 10 October 2026.
