Left hand vs right hand
The traditional rule
Most palmists read both hands. The non-dominant hand (the left, for right-handed people) is said to show what you were born with, and the dominant hand shows what you have made of it through your choices and experience.
How to compare them
Look at the major lines on both hands. Where they match, that trait is steady. Where they differ, palmists read growth, change or a talent you have developed or left unused.
What to do if you are left-handed
The roles reverse: your right hand is the non-dominant one. In practice, many modern palmists simply read the dominant hand for the present and the other for potential.
