Sonali Bendre |
Sonali Bendre , born on 1 January 1975 is an Indian actress and model. She has starred in Bollywood films mostly but has acted in a few Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. She is also one of the four judges of fourth season of Indian Idol and India's Got Talent.
Bendre started out as a model before being selected for the "Star Dust Talent Search". She was invited to Bombay and received training from a variety of top actors and performers of the Indian film industry. Sonali Bendre’s first movie was Aag (1994) with Govinda and Shilpa Shetty. In Mani Rathnam’s Bombay (1995) she was seen in a song sequence. Many of her movies failed while others did moderately well like Rakshak (1996), Diljale (1996), Duplicate (1998) and the critically acclaimed Zakhm (1999). She also worked in Tamil movies like Kadhalar Dhinam (1999) and Kannodu Kanbathellam (1999).
She is married to the film-maker Goldie Behl. They’ve been married since 2002 and had a son Ranvir in 2005.In recent times, Sonali Bendre is seen more on television than movies. She hosted Kya Masti Kya Dhoom and was a judge on Mr & Ms TV and on Indian Idol 4.
Sonali is capricorn.She has a strong sense of righteousness and are upright, courageous and ambitious, commanding respect.
