Monica is a Capricornian, born on January 18th 1975 in Chabbewal village.She got into films after she met producer Manoj Kumar in England while she was studying English literature at Oxford in 1992. Manoj’s son Kunal was her classmate. Manoj Kumar is believed to have launched her film career along with his son Kunal.
It was through Abu Salem's contacts that Monica was able to get some acting roles, beginning with a movie in Telugu.
Bedi was acquitted of all criminal charges by a Bhopal court on July 16 2007 due to lack of evidence against her. Yet another case for possessing a passport from Hyderabad on forged documents in the name of Sana Malik is pending in a Hyderabad court. The Hyderabad Court however denied her bail in the case as she failed to produce her original passport. Monica said she lost her passport in Dubai. On July 25 2007 she was released from the Chanchalguda Central Jail and was received by her father Prem Kumar Bedi. She said that she planned to make a comeback to films and claimed to be getting offers from both Bollywood and the Telugu film industry.
Monica is a Capricornian. Her lucky numbers are 9 and 18.Monica has a soft exterior and tends to relate very personally and sympathetically to other people. However, she sometimes lets her emotions overpower her reasoning and logic, and consequently she is sometimes biased in his opinions.
