Aaftab Shivdaasani

Aftab Shivdasani was born on 25th June 1978 in Mumbai, India. His parents are Prem Shivdasani, a Hindu while his mother is Sandha Shivdasani, a Muslim. He has an older sister Afsana.
Aftab Shivdasani did his schooling from St Xavier's High School and later graduated from HR College of Commerce in Mumbai.As a fairly well known child star he appeared in films such as Mr India, Shahenshah and Chaalbaaz. His debut as an adult was in 1999 opposite Urmila Matondkar in Mast. The movie fetched him the Filmfare Award for Best Newcomer in 2000.
His next film Kasoor with Lisa Ray was a thriller in which he adopted a negative role. Aftab's other films include Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche, Footpath, Awara Paagal Deewana and Darna Mana Hai.
In 2003, Aftab starred in the super hit comedy Hungama. His upcoming flick for 2008 includes Money Hai To Honey Hai and De Taal.
Aftab has been romantically linked with Esha Deol, and Shamita Shetty, though the actor has never been open to the media about his relations. He dated Yana Gupta till May 2007. He is now believed to be dating Aamna Sharif, his co-star in film Aloo Chaat.
